Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional guide from GoSilverback Safaris.

After a short briefing about your primates safari, you will be transferred to your hotel near Lake Victoria.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a relaxed evening or an optional sunset walk along the lakeshore.

This day allows you to recover from your flight and prepare mentally and physically for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park (Chimpanzee Region)

Arrive in the afternoon and relax at your lodge near the forest. Kibale is home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, and L’Hoest’s monkeys.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking – Bigodi Wetland Walk

Today begins with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing.

Accompanied by expert rangers, you will track chimpanzees through dense tropical forest, listening for their calls echoing through the canopy.

After a successful trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary walk, a community-based conservation project rich in birdlife and primates.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
